Remembering Cali: Dog Photography in Mississauga

In the late fall of 2015 I had the honour of photographing a beautiful husky-cross named Cali. Despite her age, she was an energetic and playful dog… she was fun!

Her humans chose to do the session at Jack Darling Park in Mississauga, which I love because it has so many different scenery settings all in one place, and the photographs turned out AMAZING!!

But a few months after our session I received word from her humans that Cali had sadly passed away. She was an older dog who had lived a long and wonderful life, but now it was her time to rest. It was definitely bittersweet news.

Despite the sadness, I am thankful that I had the opportunity to meet such a sweet soul. But I am more thankful that her humans decided to book a session when then did, because I was able to provide them with beautiful images to remember Cali forever.

Here are just a few of the photos we created that day.

I think it’s so sad that dogs don’t live as long as humans, but Cali’s memory will live on in these photos forever.

If you have an aging pet and are interested in booking a session, contact me.
